Player Resources
Training Material
Daily development drills, training plans, and video resources — all designed to supplement team practices and build lasting skills.
The Why
Why Daily Training Matters
Consistent daily training is the foundation of becoming a great basketball player. Skills like ball handling, footwork, and shooting require repetition to build muscle memory. The best players in the world didn't get there by practicing once a week — they put in work every single day.
At Dime, we provide structured training plans and video resources to guide daily development. Even 20–30 minutes of focused training each day can lead to dramatic improvements over a season.
The materials below are designed to supplement team practices. Players should aim to complete ball handling drills daily and follow the training plan to build a well-rounded skill set.
Daily Routine
Recommended Drills
In addition to the core plan, incorporate these into the daily routine:
Maravich Ball Handling
Classic ball handling series that builds coordination and touch.
Tennis Ball Planks
Core stability meets hand-eye coordination for better body control.
Leg Scissors
Quick hand movements between the legs to develop speed and control.
Two-Ball Dribbling
Simultaneously dribble two balls to accelerate handle improvement.
